Jyoti Nihill (pronounced 'Jyeo-tee')
Jyoti moved to the United States from Mumbai, India at the age of 16, made her way to a highly successful 25+ year career as an executive in the financial services industry. Her strengths and roles exist in negotiation, relationship management and navigating the complex environment of the financial world, all while putting her clients and their best interests at the forefront.
After 25 years, she finally decided to strike off on her own and become a business owner, helping people transition through difficult times in their lives. All of it coming about from a few conversations with some friends and people who she came across who just needed some help. This led to the establishment of Life Events Organizing, an organization focusing on the most troubling and under-serviced areas our society faces today: financial planning, retirement, divorce and financial illiteracy.
Jyoti is a life and financial planner, holds a Certificate in Project Management through George Washington University, has completed her training as a Mediator and specialized training as a Divorce Mediator through MWI. She is also a trained Divorce Coach in Collaborative Law Practice. Besides her love for helping and teaching people, she loves to travel. Her pride and joy, and what she loves most is being a wife to her husband Tim and creating memories with their 5 beautiful children.
